Analyst Strategy Group, LLC. was founded in 2003 to address the growing need for mature AR organizations to establish integrated and measurable AR programs.

Our sole concentration is Analyst Relations.

Former analysts, analyst account executives, CIOs/CTOs, strategists from SageCircle provide:

Executive team:

Rob Kolokousis

Rob brings over 15 years experience in high technology sales management, consulting, and client relationship management, 10 of those years directly in Analyst Relations. His work in AR began in 1995 at Gartner Group where he worked directly with major F100 technology vendors. Moving to KCG in 1999, Rob helped Carter Lusher develop the Analyst Relations practice, where he was both an Associate Strategist/author and VP Sales & Client Operations before he left to found SageCircle in 2000. Building SageCircle from its inception, Rob served as both VP Sales & Client Operations and an Associate Strategist, focusing on vendor negotiation strategies with the analyst firms and helping vendor AR organizations building the bridge to the sales organization. Rob brings this industry knowledge to ASG as both an Associate Strategist and a major vendor Account Executive.

Portia Langworthy

Portia has worked in consulting, sales and client management for the past 14 years, 10 of those years directly in Analyst Relations. Portia began her Analyst Relations work at Gartner in 1997 where she worked extensively with the vendor community in Seattle. In 2001 she left Gartner to join the founding team of SageCircle. At SageCircle, she used her industry analyst experience as an Engagement Manager and Account Executive for F100 vendor clients. Currently, Portia is an Engagement Manager and Associate Strategist with Analyst Strategy Group, working primarily in research and as a project manager for client engagements.

Tom Ryan

Tom brings over twenty years experience in executive management, strategic consulting, and technology development and management. As CIO at Echostar Communications in the late ‘90s, Tom oversaw the technology and operational infrastructure’s rapid expansion as the new business grew from launch to over $2B in three years. As a Director with KPMG Consulting (now Bearing Point), he consulted with several G100 financial services organizations on technology and business strategies, specializing in Information Flow Dynamics and CRM. Tom served as SageCircle COO and CEO before joining ASG. Tom’s business and technology architecture background is the basis for many of ASG’s process models and tools, including ASG’s highly acclaimed analyst opinion measurement and analysis process. Tom is the lead strategist for many of ASG’s research, measurement and program planning projects.
