Way more convenient than the Temescal location. I suggest the tandoori chicken and the chicken curry. It was slow becsuse it was so early and I was talking to Marc who I later found out was the owner along with his wife. It's my kind of dessert place. This was nice to see. We also love to order in from here. The theme here is so great and consistent. . I come from an Indian family with amazing cooks. It's an egg puff lover's dream.
You know what, scratch that comment, this is just good all around Indian. So happy Beauty's opened up this second location a mere handful of blocks from my apartment. Favorite Indian Restaurant is Wonderful, place for casual Indian dining. Showed up the first morning they opened at about 9:00 am and while it was bustling, there were a ton of open seats, so my boyfriend and I placed our orders and took a seat at the counter along the windows. They really got into the details from the seating, wall decor, tables, bar top, lamps, etc. Can't ask much more from a restaurant.
The food is delicious -- I love the chicken Tikka Masala and the Saag Paneer. For lunch or dinner, this place is just chill, nothing to rave about. I decided to go for the orig. The service at Joy is great! We were there in the evening and we asked the server for recommendations because we had arrived so late and we wanted our food fast. Good food, good service, good location. I really enjoyed the butter chicken. We had the Vegetable Delight last night which is an exciting new dish to add to my repertoire.
Favorite Indian Restaurant is my new best Indian food restaurant. Anyways, I was very excited to find an Indian restaurant that was elegant, slightly upscale and would be great for a date night. If you feel you have to pay up at Favorite Indian Restaurant to feel upper class then feel free to waste your money. I was surprised it was crowded considering it was a Monday night but then realized why. That is great when they're not late in their delivery since I was starving. Here are five to get you. The absolutely nicest people who clearly love their place and have done a lot to make it a fun spot to go to. Their decadent desserts not only look amazing, but taste great. The food was so fresh, spiced to perfection and delicious!!! All the Street Taco vendors in Mexico are cringing on this one. I tried both a saag and karahi paneer. I will definitely come back here! I'd consider this place unique as far as Indian restaurants go.
I came her with my family on a Sunday night and it was crazy line out the door and everything 15 min later we got a table and man its was worth the wait 5 stars all day!!!!!! Unfortunately, they live an hour away and I can't always get the home cooking I crave! There is nothing bad on the menu. The portion sizes are decent - and I have pretty much loved any dish I have ordered, paneer tikka masala is my favourite. There were so many egg puff flavor options it was so hard to choose. You can savor the taste of Italy at these eight restaurants. I can't wait to try other items on their menu! I love Favorite Indian Restaurant! There are tons of stores in Oakland to love, and nothing feels better than giving a thoughtful gift while supporting the local scene. The veggies are both well flavored are not at all overcooked -- which is hard to find in Indian cuisine.

Don't miss it - you really feel like you have walked into someone's house for dinner and end up having a great time. We devoured our shrimp curry, daal makhni, and tandoori paneer. From family friendly trips with kid friendly activities to local plumbers lawyers, spas, and contractors. The interior is gorgeous, and it's nice being able to look out the tall windows while enjoying your bagel and coffee. The portions were perfect for my girlfriend and me to share. The butter chicken was delicious, but the tandoori even though the chicken was flavorful, it was dry. I love all of the natural light this location gets. We visited this place so we could try out the samosa. The waiters are attentive and give good suggestions. The real star of the restaurant is the owner, though.
