I didn't like how she claimed to suddenly be in love with the guy who came to her room maybe three times? Also, there was no chemistry whatsoever between Connor and Lizzie. However, when Lizzie leaves the hospital Connor is nowhere to be found. In conclusion, We Were Never Here, left me wanting to read more novels just like it.
Another thing I didn't like was how the characters interacted with each other. After a period of time in the hospital, she is diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I want to read this one because I'm always drawn towards books with about teens with illnesses so when I saw this one available to request it was automatic for me. One day at camp she starts to feel sick. The drama continues leading to a separation between the two and this fast paced novel details how there is no distance far enough that can break the love of two hearts. An unfinished version of the film premiered at the in competition, where Ramsay won the award and Phoenix won the award for.

The summary of the book seemed interesting and that's why I wanted to read it, but the book isn't what you expect. Don't read the summary, just read the book! She should have left such areas alone entirely rather than spreading disinformation and pseudoknowledge. So despite seeing the not-so-high ratings in Goodreads, I still requested this.
